JZJW Roots reciprocating vacuum pump unit is composed of ZJ series Roots vacuum pump as the main pump and WLW vertical oil-free reciprocating vacuum pump as the backing pump. It overcomes the shortcomings of high limit pressure of WLW type vacuum pump and low pumping rate under constant pressure, and at the same time retains the advantages of ZJ series Roots vacuum pump working quickly and having a large pumping rate.
JZJW type Roots reciprocating vacuum pump unit is a new product jointly developed by our factory and national scientific research units.
1. The ultimate vacuum degree is high, and the vacuum degree is stable for a long time.
2. The pumping rate is large in a higher vacuum state.
3. The motor power is small and the energy consumption is low.
4. Since the over-current part of JZJW series Roots oil-free reciprocating vacuum unit is not lubricated by oil, after installing the exhaust gas collection device at the exhaust port of the unit, it can collect the gas that cannot be solidified and cannot be compressed in the high vacuum system, such as benzene, toluene, etc.
5. There is no secondary water pollution, reducing the pressure of pollution control.

Product Application:
JZJW series Roots oil-free reciprocating vacuum units are widely used in vacuum distillation, vacuum evaporation, dehydration and crystallization in the chemical industry; freeze drying in the food industry, vacuum drying in the pharmaceutical industry and other processes.
Since the WLW type vacuum pump adopts oil-free self-lubricating materials, it can obtain clean vacuum. Therefore, after the exhaust gas collection device is installed at the exhaust port of the JZJW series Roots oil-free reciprocating vacuum unit, it can collect the waste gas that cannot be solidified or compressed in the high vacuum system. Gases, such as pentadiene, benzene, toluene and other gases, avoid the pollution to the environment caused by the emission of low boiling point and difficult collection.
Product Features:
1. High vacuum above 150Pa can be obtained, and the pumping speed drop is small in high vacuum state.
2. With oil-free self-lubricating material, clean vacuum can be obtained; therefore, it is widely used in food and pharmaceutical vacuum systems.
3. The exhaust gas collection device can be installed at the exhaust port and collected in the high vacuum system, which cannot be condensed but does not compress the solid gas; such as cyclopentadiene, benzene, toluene, alcohols, etc. with low boiling points, it is difficult to collect and often mistakenly discharged cause environmental pollution.
4. It has the advantages of energy saving, low noise and low repair.
Instructions for use:
1. Preparations before starting the JZJW Roots reciprocating vacuum pump unit
1. Open the cooling water inlet valve and check whether the cooling water is smooth.
2. Fill the lubricating oil in the cavity of the extended shaft seal and the oil cup, add the lubricating oil in the gear box and the bearing box to the height of 2/3 ~ 3/4 of the diameter of the oil window, and use No. 1 vacuum oil for the lubricating oil.
3. Corresponding measures must be taken when using under the following conditions:
a: When there is dust or particles in the inhaled gas, a dust collector or filter should be installed in front of the inhalation port; vacuum pump unit
b: If the inhaled gas is corrosive, neutralization measures must be taken;
c: When the suction gas contains water vapor, and the selected backing pump is an oil-sealed mechanical pump, the backing pump should be equipped with a gas ballast device. When there is too much water vapor, a condenser must be installed.
2. Starting procedure:
1. Start the foreline pump.
2. Open the valve on the pre-pumping bypass pipeline of the foreline pump and the valve on the intake pipeline of the Roots vacuum pump.
3. When the pressure in the JZJWLW type Roots reciprocating vacuum pump unit reaches the allowable inlet pressure of the Roots vacuum pump, close the valve on the bypass pipeline. Restart the Roots vacuum pump; if the bypass pipeline and valve are not installed, the Roots vacuum pump can be started only after the pressure in the system reaches the allowable inlet pressure of the Roots vacuum pump; if an automatic control device is used, the starting process can be automated .
4. According to the actual situation of the vacuum system, if it is a small sealed system, the roots vacuum pump can be started immediately after starting the fore pump; if it is a larger vacuum system, although the roots vacuum pump with bypass valve has overload protection capacity, but considering the economy, the Roots vacuum pump should be started after the backing pump is pumped to a certain pressure.
3. Attention points during operation:
1. The JZJWLW type Roots reciprocating vacuum pump unit must be used in strict accordance with the technical specifications of the Roots vacuum pump. Under normal circumstances, the inlet pressure of the Roots vacuum pump is below 133×102Pa, and its maximum inlet pressure should not exceed its allowable maximum inlet pressure. If it exceeds, although ZJP Roots vacuum pump with bypass valve can automatically protect, but this protection is only the overload protection of the motor. Pumps can also fail due to overheating if operated for extended periods of time above the maximum allowable inlet pressure.
2. Pay attention to the motor load and the temperature rise of various parts of the pump at any time. Under normal circumstances, the maximum temperature rise of the pump is not allowed to exceed 40°C, and the maximum temperature is not allowed to exceed 80°C.
3. There should be no irregular abnormal vibration during operation.
4. If it is found that the motor is overloaded, the temperature rise is too high, the sound is abnormal, the vibration is too large, etc., it should be stopped immediately to check the cause and eliminate the fault in time.
4.the shutdown procedure:
1. Close the gas ballast valve of the foreline oil-sealed mechanical pump (if the gas ballast valve is open when the foreline pump is in use).
2. Close the intake valve of the Roots vacuum pump. Vacuum pump unit
3. Stop the pump step by step: stop the roots vacuum pump first, then stop the fore pump, and it is strictly forbidden to make a wrong stop sequence.
4. When stopping the foreline pump, the air inlet of the foreline pump should be bleed immediately.
5. Close the cooling water inlet valve.
6. If you need to stop using the pump for a long time, or in order to prevent the pump body from freezing and cracking in winter, you must drain all the cooling water in the pump.
